Never
have I seen a day more beautiful. The wind
slugs the American flags
at the car dealerships; the hills and trees
glow dark green.
I cannot press myself
to put the windows up as I drive.
The rain is fresh.
The sky rolls out
just for me
in Columbiana, Ohio.
